Introducing Steinbeis Augsburg Business School:A Key Partner in the PEARL Project

We are excited to introduce Steinbeis Augsburg Business School (SABS), a leading partner in the PEARL project. SABS is a distinguished member of the Steinbeis Network, a global community comprising more than 1,100 educational institutions, research centers, innovation transfer hubs, and consulting organizations. With a team of over 5,200 experts, Steinbeis is deeply involved in practical knowledge transfer, vocational education, and corporate consulting, making it a perfect fit for the PEARL project's objectives.

Why Steinbeis Augsburg Business School is Relevant for PEARL

SABS’ expertise in continuing education, research & development, and consulting aligns seamlessly with the goals of the PEARL project. Their extensive experience in working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly in areas such as ESG, change management, digitalisation, and innovation, will be critical in the development of the project’s training resources and tools. SABS is already actively involved in vocational education and training (VET) and has a long history of collaboration with VET organisations and academic institutions, which enhances its contribution to the project.

Steinbeis Augsburg Business School provides cutting-edge training programs, including courses such as the ESG Expert Certificate Course, which directly complements the objectives of PEARL. The university's focus on intertwining theory with practice through hands-on learning projects ensures that the training resources developed in PEARL will be not only educational but also actionable for the businesses and organisations that adopt them.

Steinbeis’s large network, comprising over 1,100 centers, allows the organisation to disseminate the project’s results widely, ensuring maximum reach and impact. Their focus on sustainability, HR development, and agile transformation will contribute significantly to the development of the PEARL project’s training materials, toolbox, VET training packages, and the Assessment Application.

Steinbeis Augsburg Business Schools Role in PEARL

In the PEARL project, SABS will play an integral role in WP3 (Training Resources and Toolbox Development), leveraging its expertise in ESG education and vocational training to develop high-quality, practical resources. Their experience in delivering certification courses and professional development programs will be crucial in shaping the training materials that will help SMEs and VET providers build ESG literacy.

Additionally, SABS will be involved in the development of the PEARL Toolbox and the ESG Risk Assessment Application (WP4), bringing their knowledge of risk management, conflict resolution, and intercultural communication to ensure that these resources meet the needs of SMEs and other target groups.
